Four Girls. One Friendship.
An old acquaintence asked how we were doing.
I replied, "oh we all are moving on in life...Brit's in Charlotte teaching dance, Court's off to London to be an Au Pair, Jess' doing her thing and is totally happy with Jon, and I am getting ready to move on to Law School".
He asked, "You mean the four of you wont be around anymore, fighting about who has the better shoes?"
That brought back memories and a smile.
I realized that it doesn't matter how far apart in miles we are from each other, or how many days go by before we hear each other's voice, and it definately doesn't matter who else comes into our lives. Why? Because at the end of the day, the four of us are still there in spirit with each other. And that is something amazing. And I am incredibly thankful of that.
Through all the good times and the bad times, we know that we are there for each other...regardless of whether we think we need each other or not.
The four of us are strong women, with well defined personalities and lots of great opportunities ahead of ourselves. I could not imagine our lives without soulful talks at Christy's Euro Pub (without chicken tendors or chicken salad sandwiches, oh and brittany's veggies), without fabulous nights listening to Jazz and loving live, summertime weather and live music shows, excessive shopping and chaotic friendships, teaparties and countless talks.
We have become a family. And for that I am grateful.
FOUR GIRLS. ONE FRIENDSHIP.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. ~Henri Nouwen

eh. you made me cry.
these girls mean the world to me and i would jump out in front of a train for any of them without a moments hesitation. I just cannot believe we are all moving in different directions, and although it seems so cliche, no matter where we end up, i still have my girls.
The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.
